Your Story Begins Here
Whether you are chasing sunsets, celebrating a milestone, or seeking a peaceful retreat — Humphreys Hill House is ready to welcome you home.
A cultural boutique retreat celebrating the Gusii spirit — where every sunset is a story, and every stay, a memory etched in gold.
Nestled 2.5km from Kisii Town, The Humphreys Hill House rises from an indigenous forest, overlooking Lake Victoria and the emerald valleys of South Nyanza. Our architecture was intentionally fragmented — intimate social pods designed to preserve the natural hillside and create private moments of wonder.
We are not just a hotel. We are a living museum of Gusii culture, a garden-to-table restaurant, a wellness retreat, and a community anchor — powered entirely by solar energy and rainwater harvesting.
